Comic Book Store near McAllen, TX

We're at 1136 N Closner Blvd in Edinburg, about 10 minutes from central McAllen, just north of UTRGV. Anthony opened the shop in May 2023. Parking is free out front, so you're not feeding a meter or circling a block.

Kaboom is the biggest shop in McAllen and South Texas TCG is the tournament spot. We're smaller, with a wider mix and a same-day buy counter. Pick whichever fits the trip.

Graded slabs and singles are the two biggest. We keep CGC and CBCS books in the case and PSA, BGS, and CGC graded cards, and we can submit your own books for grading rather than you shipping them yourself.

After that it's new comic day, sealed Pokémon, sports card wax, and Funko exclusives and chases. We stock Marvel, DC, and Image new releases every Wednesday, plus back issue bins that get refreshed as collections come through the door.

Trade nights run monthly and pull people from McAllen, Pharr, and further out. Regulars trade face to face and newer collectors get paired with people who know what things are actually worth. We've also hosted pre-show trade nights for the 956 Sports Card Show.

We're open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 7 PM, closed Mondays. Walk in any time during those hours. If you're coming from further out in the Valley, see drive times from across the RGV.
